When purchasing phone numbers in Buzz to make calls or send SMS as part of your campaign, there are two types of charges to be aware of:
One-time purchase fee – applied when you buy a new phone number.
Monthly renewal fee – charged to keep your number active.
Both of these charges are automatically deducted from your Free Calling/SMS credits, if available.
How Credits Work
Free Credits
Every plan includes Free credits, which are always used first for calling or SMS.
Phone number purchase and renewal fees are deducted from these Free credits (if available).
Calls and SMS also use Free credits until they are fully used.
Basic Credits
Once Free credits are used up, all charges (including calls, SMS, and number fees) will be deducted from your Basic credits.
If your plan has Free credits available:
Calls and SMS are effectively free until those credits run out.
Number purchase/renewal fees are also taken from Free credits.
If your plan has no Free credits:
All usage and fees will be deducted from Basic credits.
Costs will be displayed before you confirm a number purchase.
The purchase and renewal fees for phone numbers will always be deducted from the dialing credit pool you have available (Free first, then Basic).
If you’re a workspace admin, you can view details about all credit types directly in the Admin Panel.
