The Verify prospect's emails before sending feature controls how carefully our system checks a prospect’s email address before sending a message. Depending on whether it’s turned on or off, the system behaves differently.
How to Enable the Feature
To find the toggle, go to your Workspace Settings > Basic Information:
When the Feature is Enabled (ON)
The system runs three checks right before sending an email:
Email Format: It checks if the email address is written correctly.
Past Delivery Failures: It looks for any past problems delivering emails to this address.
External Validation (via Emailable): It uses a third-party tool to see if the email looks suspicious or fake.
If the email passes all three checks, it gets a green check mark, and the email is sent.
If any check fails, the email gets a red X, won’t be sent, and the prospect moves to Pending.
⚠️ Once an email fails steps 2 or 3, that result is saved. It will stay marked as invalid unless this feature is turned off.
When the Feature is Disabled (OFF)
Only the email format is checked. The system skips the other two checks.
The email always gets a green check mark;
The system will always try to send it, even if it might not be valid.
Good to Know
These checks apply to all types of emails: personal, work, or enriched.
Validation happens right before sending. So even if an email looks valid at first, it could still be blocked later if it fails a check during the Send step of your campaign.
The Verify Prospect’s Emails Before Sending feature helps protect your deliverability and keeps your email reputation strong. By catching invalid or risky addresses before sending, it ensures your outreach goes to real people, saving you time and avoiding bounce issues.
