There are several types of settings you can use to effectively build your campaign. Identify your target audience and create the outreach strategy that gets you heard.

Social + Email vs Email only

These are the two main types of campaign outreach, each encompassing its own set of steps.

  • Social + Email allows you to send connection requests, messages, InMails etc.

  • Email restricts outreach to email correspondence exclusively.

Notice that the Premium only setting becomes inaccessible when Email Only is selected, as email outreach does not entail interaction with Social's interface.

Now that we have looked into the two types of outreach, let us delve into the settings that can help you make the most of your campaign.

Number of connection requests

This setting enables you to set a maximum number of connection requests sent out daily from a given campaign.

If the setting is toggled on and the value is set to zero, no connections will be sent out from the campaign.

Link tracking

When Link tracking is enabled:

  • All links (except for those redirecting to video content) that get added to the steps containing text become customized. This means the links will appear differently to the recipient than they do in the original step.

  • Message click rate, Email click rate and Email open rate metrics are tracked. You can check out the statistics in the drop-down menu of the campaign as well as in the detailed report via the Reports tab.

When Link tracking is disabled, the links are not customized and the metrics mentioned above are not tracked.

If the Link tracking setting in the campaign is activated and the workspace has an associated custom domain, the links sent out from the campaign will be modified according to the domain settings.

If Link Tracking is deactivated and a custom domain is linked to the workspace, the links will remain unaltered, except in cases involving video links if it was considered during the configuration of the custom domain.

That also includes video content if the respective option is ticked off in the custom domain settings.

Premium only

Activating this setting ensures that campaign steps are exclusively executed for Social users with a Premium subscription.

If the search link or the CVS file contains non-Premium profiles, they will be moved to the Pending status with the notification “Profile is not premium”.

Move prospects

When toggled on, this setting allows you to move prospects to a new campaign if the search link or the CSV file used in the campaign contains profiles that have already been added to a previous campaign.

NOTE:

  • If Move prospects is activated, the profiles will be moved to the most recently created campaign. For instance, if campaigns were created in May and June, profiles will be added to the June campaign. Disabling Move Prospects will not revert profiles to the earlier campaign. They can only be added back to the May campaign if the June campaign is deleted or archived.

  • Manually moved profiles will no longer be automatically transferred under the Move prospects setting.

Include prospects

This setting allows you to decide whether you want to engage profiles that you have already contacted via Social. It is contingent upon the existence of a previous text conversation with a specific profile prior to running the campaign.

If the setting is enabled at the time of the campaign launch, such profiles get added to the campaign and contacted without interruption.

If the setting is disabled at the time of the launch, further interaction with previously engaged prospects is paused. To resume interaction, go to the Prospects tab, choose the relevant prospects, then click Action > Resume campaign.

Search, + Add Search

Clicking + Add Search allows you to choose and incorporate a specific search type for your campaign.

Currently, the following types of searches are available:

  • Search URL or Sales Navigator search on Social;

  • Post URL: a link to a Social post;

  • Event: a link to a Social event;

  • Group: a link to a Social group;

  • Navigator list: a link to a saved Sales Navigator search list on Social;

  • Recruiter project URL or Recruiter search: a link to a Recruiter search;

  • CSV file: a file containing prospects you would like to add to the campaign;

  • With API.

Mastering these settings will help you tailor your outreach strategy with precision, ensuring that your campaign is both targeted and effective.
