Running Your First Campaign with Realty Data

Updated over 3 weeks ago

If you're ready to connect with prospective home buyers actively engaging with real estate listings in a specific Zip Code, you're in the right place. In this guide, we'll walk you through how to create your very first Realty Data campaign, a powerful tool to target the right people based on location and intent.

💡 You can access Realty Data here.

To begin your first search, start by creating a campaign. From your dashboard, simply click Create New Campaign located in the top-right corner of the screen.

Now it’s time to add your search.

Realty Data is a powerful and easy-to-use search option that helps you identify and pull home buyers and sellers based on their interest in real estate within a specific area. It can target people searching for specific real estate listings or pull listings within a particular Zip code, and then load those listing visitors into a campaign.

Please note: Realty Data currently works for U.S. locations only.

There are two simple ways to use Realty Data when setting up a new campaign:

  1. Search by ZIP Code – This method is great when you want to target a broad area. Just click Add Search, select RealtyData from the list, enter the ZIP code you want to target, and click Add Search.

2. Search by Listing's URL – If you have a specific neighborhood or set of properties in mind, you can paste in a URL from a real estate listings site (like Zillow.com or Realtor.com) that shows homes in your desired area. Just select RealtyData, paste the link, and hit Add Search.

If you want to add more than one listing link, just save your first Realty Data search, then click Add Search again to add another.

To keep your searches organized, you can rename them at any time. Click the small pencil icon next to your added search.

Then, type in your desired name and click the checkmark to save your changes.

Tips to Keep in Mind:

  • Adding multiple links that span different geographic areas can make it difficult to track which prospects came from which listing. If it’s important to keep those sources separate, we recommend creating a separate campaign for each listing.

  • You can also combine ZIP code searches and listings URL searches to fine-tune your targeting. For example, you might start with a ZIP code to target a broader neighbourhood, then layer in a listings link for a specific new development or condo complex within that area that you know is getting a lot of interest.

Once you’ve added your Realty Data search — whether by ZIP code or URL — you’re ready to start building out your campaign steps.

In case you'd like to come back and edit later, you can always click Save at the bottom of the page and revisit your campaign later.

Give your campaign a name, configure its settings and steps, then click Run Campaign at the bottom of the page.

Once prospects start being added to your campaign, you'll see them appear in the New section:

Click the New tag to expand and view the list of newly added prospects.

As they progress through the campaign flow, you’ll be able to view prospects in each subsequent category the same way.

You're All Set!

Once your campaign is up and running, prospects will begin to flow in based on your selected search criteria. Don’t forget, you can always go back and fine-tune your searches or campaign steps as you learn what works best. Happy prospecting!
