In this note, we’ll walk through how Buzz decides which email account to use when you set up a Send Email step in your campaign.
With Buzz, you can connect multiple mailboxes. When you configure a Send Email step, you’ll enter the specific mailboxes you want Buzz to use. For a first-time email to a prospect, Buzz will randomly choose from the mailboxes you provided, distributing usage evenly across them. This helps you avoid hitting sending limits in one mailbox while leaving others underused.
However, if you’ve already emailed that prospect before — and the mailbox you used is included in your rotation — Buzz will continue the conversation from that same mailbox. In this case, limits are ignored to maintain consistency and avoid confusing the recipient.
Buzz is designed to balance efficiency with continuity. For new prospects, it spreads emails evenly across your mailboxes. For ongoing conversations, it sticks to the same mailbox you used before, ensuring your communication feels natural and seamless.
