Buzz offers a seamless two-way integration with HubSpot, making it easy to push prospects, sync activities, push deals, and keep your pipeline up to date. How to Connect your HubSpot Account
Log in to your Buzz account.
Navigate to the Integrations tab.
Find and choose the HubSpot integration.
Click Connect.
5. You’ll be redirected to the HubSpot login page. Select the HubSpot account you want to connect and click Choose Account.
6. Review the permissions and click Connect App.
Once complete, you will be redirected back to Buzz, and your HubSpot account will be connected.
How to Push Prospects from Buzz to HubSpot
You can push prospects from Buzz to HubSpot in four ways:
1. From the Inbox tab
Open the prospect’s card, click the three-dot menu, then select Push to HubSpot.
2. From the Prospects tab
Tick the checkbox next to the prospect(s) you want to push and click Push to CRM > HubSpot.
3. As a campaign step
Prospects can also be automatically pushed to HubSpot as part of a campaign workflow.
4. Via Activity Sync
Activity Sync is a feature that lets you automatically push and sync the activity of prospects you have in Buzz. You can choose which prospect statuses the sync should apply to, giving you full control over what gets logged.
When Activity Sync is enabled, a prospect will be sent to the CRM as soon as they reach one of the pre-selected statuses, even if the campaign doesn’t include a Push to CRM step. The sync may take up to 20 minutes to complete.
How to Configure Activity Sync
Once your integration is connected, click Manage to access the settings:
Next, you’ll see this page:
Turn on the toggle to reach the activity sync and prospect push settings. After you do, you will see the settings appear:
How it works
Activity logging begins when you toggle the feature on and when a prospect reaches a status you’ve selected for syncing. If the prospect isn’t already in HubSpot, they’ll be added automatically. This process can take up to 20 minutes, but all activity during that time will still be tracked and logged.
Activity Sync does not backfill past activity: it only starts tracking from the moment it’s enabled.
Auto-sync applies only to prospects inside campaigns (active or disabled). If a campaign is deleted or a prospect is removed from it, syncing will stop. If that prospect is later added to another campaign, only new messages will be synced. The same applies to manual pushes from Inbox or the Prospects tab: syncing works only if the prospect is currently in a campaign.
If a prospect moves into a status you did not select for syncing, activity logging for that prospect will automatically stop.
For example, if you’ve enabled Activity Sync for prospects with the status Contacted, their activity will be logged until they move to a status like Replied or Lead (unless you’ve chosen those statuses too).
Choose a Contact Owner in HubSpot
This integration allows you to assign a contact owner in HubSpot. This determines which HubSpot user your pushed contacts will be assigned to.
Choosing an owner is mandatory.
Enable Prospect Deduplication
Prospect Deduplication helps prevent duplicate records in HubSpot. Before a prospect is pushed from Buzz to HubSpot, the system checks for existing records and avoids creating duplicates.
This setting is enabled by default.
If you disable it:
Duplicate prospect records may be created in HubSpot.
Existing data on a contact may be overwritten or lost.
💡 Best practice: Keep Prospect Deduplication enabled to maintain clean and accurate records in HubSpot.
Email Order
The Email Order setting lets you define and prioritize which email address should be sent to HubSpot. Since HubSpot only allows one primary email per record, Buzz will check your set priority and push the highest-ranked available email.
How it works:
You can reorder emails by dragging and dropping the tiles to set your priority.
The system will push the top available email in your list to HubSpot as the primary email.
If a prospect has an enriched email, it will still be sent to HubSpot as a property, even if it matches the primary email.
Please note that If Prospect Deduplication is disabled and you change the email order, you may create duplicate records in HubSpot. This happens because the prospect’s primary email may change, and HubSpot could treat it as a new record. To avoid duplicates, we strongly recommend keeping Prospect Deduplication enabled.
Social Conversations
This setting is to further customize the activity logging for your Social Platform interactions.
Sync Social Connection Requests – syncs when connection requests are sent on the Social Platform. Received connection requests aren't synced.
Sync Social Messages – Syncs personal messages sent and received on the Social Platform, starting from the moment the prospect is first pushed to HubSpot.
Where to Find the Synced Activity in HubSpot?
After the activity syncs to HubSpot, you can find it in the contact’s overview. Simply find the contact, click their name, and open the Activities tab to see all activity. It can also be seen in the Recent activities section of the "Overview" tab.
In the activity feed, you’ll see both the details of the activity and the Social Account it was performed from.
How to Add Deals
Adding deals to HubSpot is quick and intuitive:
Find your prospect in the Inbox.
Select the prospect you would like to add to your CRM.
Click on the + New deal from the Profile Card under CRM deals.
4. Choose HubSpot as the platform, configure the deal stage, then enter the deal name, value, and currency.
5. Click Create.
Another Way to Add Your HubSpot Deals
To add your deals using an alternative method, navigate to the Pipeline tab on your dashboard. Once there, select Hubspot from the dropdown menu found at the top of the page.
Next, hover over the screen and click on + Add Deal:
Complete all the required fields, including the deal name, pipeline, stage, amount, owner, probability, and status.
Be sure to also add the relevant prospects and companies. Once all the information is filled out, click Create to finalize the deal.
Your deal will be instantly synced between Buzz and HubSpot. Changes to deal status, stage, value, or other details will update automatically in both platforms.
If for some reason you do not see them reflected on Buzz Pipeline, try refreshing your deals by going to the Pipeline tab and clicking the synchronization button in the top right corner.
A Few More Things
You can link multiple CRMs to a single Buzz account.
If you manage several pipelines in HubSpot, each will sync with Buzz. You can assign deals to specific pipelines manually.
When a deal is created in HubSpot, data from the prospect’s contact info is transferred.

IMPORTANT: When syncing prospects from Buzz to HubSpot, do not modify the property data, especially the field type. It must remain set to Single-line Text. Changing the field type may prevent prospects from syncing properly and cause data fetching issues.
If syncing has failed, correcting the field type will resolve the issue. To update it in HubSpot:
Go to Data Management > Properties;
Select the relevant property;
Under Manage, click Field Type;
Choose Single-line Text.
Once corrected, your prospects will begin syncing as expected.
With Buzz’s HubSpot integration, managing your deals has never been easier. Take full advantage of the two-way synchronization to ensure your pipeline is always up to date.
