How to Change or Select LinkedIn Sales Navigator Contract for Search
Last updated: September 23, 2026
When using multiple LinkedIn Sales Navigator contracts, it's important to ensure searches are created under the correct contract. This article explains how to verify and change which Sales Navigator contract is being used.
Prerequisites
Before using LinkedIn Sales Navigator contracts for searches, ensure:
You have an active LinkedIn Sales Navigator subscription
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled on your LinkedIn account. This is required for the system to automatically connect to your Sales Navigator account.
Checking Current Contract
When creating a search in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, the system automatically uses the first contract listed. If you have multiple contracts, you may need to verify or change which one is being used.
Changing Contract Selection
To change which Sales Navigator contract is being used:
Open the LinkedIn search in your browser
Look for the contract selection prompt at the top of the page
Select the desired contract from the available options
If you don't see the contract selection prompt when accessing Navigator, please contact our support team. We can help ensure the search is created under the correct contract.
Troubleshooting
Error: "Search requires Sales Navigator on LinkedIn"
If you receive this error despite having an active Sales Navigator subscription, verify that two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled on your LinkedIn account. The system requires 2FA to automatically connect to Sales Navigator.
Best Practices
To avoid issues with lead list generation:
Verify the correct contract is selected before creating new searches
Ensure all team members are using the appropriate Sales Navigator contract for their role
Contact support if you need to move searches between contracts
