Why can't I add prospects from Search to an Email-Only campaign?

Prospects found through the Search tab (Buzz Database) can only be added to multichannel campaigns — this is a current platform limitation, and Email-Only campaigns work a little differently.

Email-Only campaigns accept prospects in two ways only: via API or by uploading a CSV file.

If you need to get Search prospects into an Email-Only campaign, here are two workarounds:

  • Switch the campaign type: Change your campaign from Email-Only to Multichannel. Multichannel campaigns support all email outreach steps just the same, and you'll be able to add prospects directly from the Search tab:

  • Export and upload as CSV: Create a separate multichannel campaign and add your Search prospects there. Then go to the Prospects tab, export those prospects as a CSV file, and use that file as a search type for your Email-Only campaign.
