AskBuzz: Direct Email Sending

Last updated: July 13, 2026

While automated drip campaigns handle your cold outreach sequences, you occasionally need to send single, high-priority emails to specific prospects directly from your conversation. This guide details how to compile and send direct ad-hoc emails inside AskBuzz.

📨 Standard Sending Scenarios

You can ask AskBuzz to draft and deliver direct outreach emails in two distinct scenarios:

  1. Drafting and Sending Immediately:

  • Provide the recipient's details and let AskBuzz write and send the message on the spot.

  • Example: “Send a cold email to john@example.com offering automation services. Use my connected Google outbox.”

  1. Converting an Existing Draft:

  • Let AskBuzz draft a response in chat first, refine it, and then approve delivery.

  • Example: “This draft looks perfect. Go ahead and send it to mac.rodrigues@outlook.com now.”

The Verification & Sending Flow

To protect against accidental sends, direct outbox operations require user gating:

  1. Stage 1: Review Draft: AskBuzz displays the subject line, final recipient email address, and complete body text in your thread.

  2. Stage 2: Gated Delivery: AskBuzz displays the active, connected sending channel (Gmail/Outlook) and outputs the delivery approval button: Approve Send (1.0 Credit).

  3. Sending execution: Once clicked, AskBuzz creates a temporary one-step email workflow behind the scenes, attaches the recipient, and instructs the platform to deliver the email immediately.

Mailbox Connections and Troubleshooting

Ad-hoc email delivery relies on your account's connected Outbound Campaign mailbox:

  • Active Outbox Channel: Your Gmail or Outlook account must be connected and designated as "Active" for campaigns in your Buzz platform dashboard.

  • Failed Deliveries: If a send action returns an error, it is typically because your social connection or SMTP token has expired. Visit your active integrations on dash.buzz.ai to verify or refresh the link, and AskBuzz will be ready to re-send.
