Why is the Connection Request Booster required for some prospects?

Sometimes a prospect will receive a pending status with the reason: Active Connection Booster required to send CR. This means the Social Platform is blocking the connection request for that prospect, and the Connection Request Booster needs to be enabled to proceed.

Why does this happen?

This typically occurs when:

  • The recipient has restricted incoming connection requests and only accepts them with an email address

  • The Social Account is relatively new or has few mutual connections

  • A high number of connection requests were sent in a short period, which the Social Platform treats as mass outreach
