Why am I not receiving Social Platform notifications after connecting my account to Buzz?

When you connect your Social Account to Buzz, you may notice that the Social Platform's native notification system stops working as expected. The notification counters in Social's Messages section and bottom-right Inbox will show 0, even when you have unread messages or new connections. This affects both campaign-related and your personal Social activity.

Why is this happening?

This is expected behavior when your Social Account is connected to Buzz. The system integration causes Social's in-app notification counters to always display 0.

However, you can still stay on top of your Social activity using these methods:

💌 For Messages:

  • Personal messages will still be marked as unread in your messaging inbox

  • Regularly check your unread conversations in the Social Platform's messaging section to ensure nothing is missed

  • Campaign-related messages can be managed through Buzz's inbox and notification system

🔗 For New Connections:

  • Social's in-app connection notifications won't appear

  • Enable email and push notifications in your Social settings to receive alerts for new connections

  • You can manage these notification preferences in your Social Account settings

This setup helps ensure you don't miss any personal Social activity while maintaining the benefits of Buzz integration for your campaigns.
