Instant Searches
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Instant Searches is a unique feature in Buzz that offers several advantages over traditional search methods. In this article, we will explore the strengths and limitations of using Instant Searches.
By enabling this feature, you can enhance your prospect search capabilities as it triggers an immediate search as soon as the campaign goes live.
With Instant Searches on, the Pages Search limit is bypassed and hidden from view.
With it off, searching is spread through the day instead of starting at launch. Each account gets a small daily cap on search pages, picked at random within a range: 5-8 a day on Basic, 6-9 on a Sales Navigator seat
Additionally, searches are performed outside standard operating hours and continue running until the campaign page's defined limits are met.
To activate this feature, head to the Settings tab > Account Limits.

However, there are a few limitations to keep in mind with Instant Searches:
Currently, this feature doesn't work if you run your outreach using a Basic Social account.
Recruiter Search and Post URL links are not supported; these searches will default to regular search instead.
If your campaign includes an event invitation, the initial step is to Send Message. As a result, the search adheres to the message-sending limit set for the campaign.
For campaigns targeting closed groups that require membership approval, the join group task is automatically scheduled to check for approvals periodically. Apart from this, there are no additional restrictions.
Once the search is complete and all current results have been pulled in, new profiles that appear later in Sales Navigator are not automatically added to the campaign. To capture newly appearing prospects, you must manually rerun the search for that campaign, which will reprocess from page one, add any new matches, and skip duplicates.
