Zapier and Webhook's are fantastic tools that allow for data to be shared between two spaces that do not easily share information between one another.
They provide the ability to transfer selected information from one platform to another seamlessly, effortlessly, and automatically.
These automations allow for apps that do not "talk to" each other to "begin conversation" and share data between each other
IMPORTANT TERMINOLOGY:
Zap - A "Zap" is the term in Zapier for the set of determined action that would like to be produced upon the "Trigger"
Trigger - A "Trigger" is the determined action that will prompt the "Zap" to automate & begin.
Webhook - A "Webhook" is data that may be transferred through the web - software - rather than through hardware on your computer. They are called webhooks as they are software hooks (a function that runs when something happens over the web)
