Limited to 100 LinkedIn Invites Per Week?

Well, not anymore. Buzz has a couple of workarounds that keep outreach levels up.

Limited to 100 LinkedIn Invites Per Week? Well, not anymore.

Over the last few months, LinkedIn has been trialing a new feature that limits the number of invites you can send out to around 100 per week.

You may have seen the following message from LinkedIn Weekly Invite Limits:

"Connections benefit you more when you know them personally, so we have weekly limits to encourage better networks. For people you don't know, you can follow them to see their posts or send an InMail instead. If you'd still like to send an invitation, please try again next week."

Why did LinkedIn bring this change?

There are several theories why LinkedIn brought in the new invite restriction, although the company has been keeping relatively quiet about this move. All theories point to protecting their users.

LinkedIn is trying to get users to connect with members they know personally, but what about if you're paying LinkedIn for prospecting purposes like a large majority of users?

Here is why this change is good news for Buzz Users

Buzz just released its new email enrichment function, available for all users.

But wait, what does this have to do with bypassing LinkedIn invite restrictions?

This weekly invite limit does not seem to apply when you have the email address of your prospects.

By getting the email address of the contacts from Buzz, you can now bypass the weekly LinkedIn invite limit simply by using the Send Connection Request By Email step in the Campaigns tab.

When added to a sequence, we are able to test emails for each profile, send connection requests and even outreach campaigns.

What does this mean for you?

Buzz now fully overcomes LinkedIn restrictions by enriching profile data on autopilot, so that you can rest assured you can send your invitees as usual without any limitations.

Buzz Tips:

  • Connection requests by email are still sent through LinkedIn - we use all available emails to tell LinkedIn that you know the profile and this extends your sending limits.
  • Recipients don't get a custom invite message. They'll come with a default message, "I'd like to add you to my professional network!"
  • Use the Send Connection By Email Request by Email function, before a normal connection request. If we don't have the email - a normal connection will follow.
