How to Move Credentials Between Workspaces

A White Label (WL) administrator can transfer credentials between different workspaces. This section will cover the specifics of transferring various entities and any potential limitations.

Entities That Can Be Transferred Without Issues:

  • Credentials: the main accounts.

  • Profiles: User data associated with the credentials.

  • Messages: Any messages sent or received under the credential.

  • Track Events: Activity events such as email opens, link clicks, and other actions.

Specifics of Transferring Other Entities:

  • Campaigns, Videos, and Custom Domains:

    • Videos and custom domains are not directly linked to a credential, so they are not transferred.

    • Campaigns using videos and custom domains will be stopped. To resume their operation, you will need to reconfigure the domain and video.

  • Labels:

    • Labels are not tied to a credential, so when a credential is transferred to a new workspace, copies of the labels are created.

    • Copies are only created for labels that are in use. If a label is not being used anywhere, it will not be copied to the new space.

  • Dash Tasks:

    • Dash Tasks are associated with a credential and a user (assignee).

    • When a credential is transferred to a new workspace, the user (assignee) is retained only if the user exists in the new workspace. Otherwise, the assignee is reset.

This information can be useful when transferring entities between workspaces to prevent any unforeseen issues and ensure seamless operations.

How to Move Credentials:

1) Navigate to the Admin panel and enter the email address associated with the credential you wish to relocate into the Search bar.

2) Once you fill in the field, the search results will display the workspace currently associated with that credential. Tap on the workspace.

3) Scroll down until you see the Credentials section.

4) Within this section, identify the credential you want to move and select it.

5) Continue scrolling down until you see the Move Credential button. Click on it.

6) Clear the email previously entered in the Search bar.

7) Enter the name of the target workspace where you want the credential to be transferred.

8) Once you locate the desired workspace, select it and click the Move button.

A notification will appear at the bottom of your screen indicating that the credential will be relocated within five minutes.

Typically, the transfer is immediate, so you can refresh the page to verify if the credential has been successfully moved to the intended workspace.

To do that:

  • Go to the Search bar.

  • Enter the email of the credential that has been moved.

  • Confirm that it appears in the correct workspace.

If an error message is displayed at the bottom of the screen while attempting to move a credential, please contact our Customer Support team for immediate assistance.
