Why are all my campaign emails showing as bounced when using AI email mailboxes?
Last updated: January 16, 2026
When running a campaign with AI email mailboxes, you might notice that your campaign dashboard shows all emails as “bounced” — even though the emails were actually delivered successfully.
This can be confusing, but rest assured: your emails are not failing to send.
What’s Causing This?
This behavior is related to how the system handles temporary sending issues and retries.
Here’s what happens behind the scenes:
Initial send attempt fails
The first attempt to send an email may fail due to temporary server issues, rate limiting, or provider-related delays.
Automatic retry kicks in
The system automatically retries sending the email without requiring any action from you.
Email is delivered successfully
The retry attempt succeeds, and the email is delivered as expected.
Dashboard shows the initial failure
The campaign dashboard still records the first failed attempt as a “bounce,” even though the email was ultimately delivered.
Because of this, the bounce count reflects initial send attempts, not the final delivery outcome.
How to Confirm Your Emails Were Delivered
To check the actual delivery status:
Open your campaign
Go to the Statistics section
Navigate to Prospects → Emails bounced

If this section is:
Empty, or
Shows fewer prospects than your total campaign size
…it means the emails were successfully delivered after the retry.
Is This Normal?
This is expected behavior when using AI email mailboxes and the system’s automatic retry mechanism.
Your emails are being delivered
No action is required from you
Campaign performance is not affected
If your campaign shows emails as bounced but delivery actually succeeded, you’re seeing the result of an automatic retry. The system prioritizes successful delivery, even if the initial attempt fails.
